CAAM identifies BVLOS, dangerous-goods carriage, research and development, and certain additional-risk activities within its Special UAS Project guidance. The applicable pathway must be checked against the specific proposal and current requirements.

Yes. Start with the operational problem and intended outcome. A discovery or feasibility engagement can clarify whether a UAS approach is suitable and what needs to be assessed before procurement.

Can you assess equipment we already own?

Yes. We can review its fit with the proposed task, limitations, current workflows and supporting capability, then identify improvements or evidence needed.

Can you help us decide between in-house and outsourced operations?

Yes. The comparison can consider operating frequency, internal competency, support requirements, governance and overall costs. A hybrid model may also be assessed.

Does consulting include regulatory approval?

Consulting can include regulatory planning and agreed application support. Approval decisions remain with the relevant authority; the operator remains responsible for implementing the operation and its controls.

Can training be included?

Training needs assessment, workshops and capability development can be included in the project scope. The programme should reflect the roles and practical tasks your team will perform.
